Fall Protection Certificate
Created by Energy Safety Canada this fall protection course in Edmonton is designed to give workers the understanding and hands on experience of working with fall protection equipment.
Energy Safety Canada courses are widely recognized as the industry standard and accepted at all oil and gas work sites across Canada.
Course Content:
- Why fall protection is important
- Legislative roles and responsibilities
- Identifying and assessing fall hazards and hierarchy of controls
- Development of fall protection and safe work procedures
- Types of fall arrest systems, equipment and components
- Use, care, storage, maintenance and inspection of fall protection equipment
- Fall protection system forces and clearances
- Effects of falls and fall rescue planning
English Participation Requirement:
Energy Safety Canada requires that students must be adequately prepared to participate in English for all required course elements including, but not limited to – verbal class participation, written chapter knowledge checks, interactive course exercises and a written final exam. If participants do not meet this requirement, they may be asked to leave class and rebook when they are able to fully participate in English. For more information click HERE
